Advanced Dental Technology

Ever since Dr. Susman opened our dental office, he has made it his goal to stay on the leading-edge of dental technology. When he’s not in our dental office, he’s constantly doing research and training so he can integrate the latest instruments and techniques into our dental office. The end result is a patient experience that is comfortable from beginning to end. You can experience the very best that modern-day dentistry has to offer right here in Tulsa, so be sure to schedule an appointment today.

Our Carestream intraoral camera enables us to take your standard exams to the next level. Rather than just using a bright light and handheld mirror to look into your mouth, we can instead take close-up, high-resolution pictures of your teeth and gums and display them on a monitor right in the treatment room. This makes it easy for Dr. Susman to find even the slightest hint of a dental problem, plus he’ll be able to thoroughly explain what he’s observing so you can better understand your oral health.

3D Cone Beam Scanner

Our 3D cone beam scanner is able to create a fully digital model of a patient’s teeth, jaws, and surrounding oral structures in a matter of minutes. We use this technology when planning for more involved treatments like dental implant placement. It provides much more detail compared to a regular X-ray, and it allows us to personalize a procedure to better predict the outcome of treatment.

Rather than having you bite down onto a mold filled with odd-tasting dental putty to create an impression of your bite, we can now just scan your teeth with a small device that’s about the size of a pen. This offers several advantages versus the old method:

  • It’s faster
  • It’s more comfortable
  • It creates a more accurate impression in less time
  • It doesn’t involve any gooey dental putty!

Digital Xrays

Compared to traditional film X-rays, our digital X-rays…

  • Create higher-quality images
  • Only take a few seconds to develop
  • Expose our patients (as well as our team!) to 80% less radiation

Wouldn’t it be great if you could see how your smile would look after getting a treatment before you actually got it? Thanks to our NextDent 5100 3D printer, our patients now have that option! We can use this device to create a “try-on” smile for you that simulates what your teeth will look like after getting whitening, porcelain veneers, or any other procedure. We can create different try-ons until we find the ideal one, and then our team can get to work turning it into your actual smile!
